Right now, the recruitment industry, for the most part, is stuck in the past. The way they operate hasn’t changed much in the past few decades.
Most recruitment firms still rely on ‘old school’ methods to grow their business, such as cold-calling, post and pray, referrals, networking, etc…
When we ask why they choose to run their business, and lead generating like that…most recruiters typically say “it’s always been done that way.”
Meanwhile the rest of the business world has been evolving at hyper speeds when it comes to new client acquisition methods especially.
This is great news for you if you’ve been relying on methods which you can’t directly control. My mentor told me if you can’t pay to acquire a client, you don’t have a business – you have a hobby.
So if you can’t accurately predict how many new clients you will get on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, stick around to the end of this post. I’m going to explain the most profitable “new” marketing method that exists today.
Here’s the deal.
Many recruiters have discovered Job Fair Marketing is a great way to attract new clientele and candidates.
There are a lot of pros to seminar-style marketing. For instance:
You can sell“one to many” instead of one to one. This give you much more leverage over your time and income.
You’re giving valuable information to your prospects which positions you as an expert in your field. This always makes selling easier.
People who attend a job fair are typically more qualified prospects than the average joe, and having your clients as sponsors can net a good profit.
Now that we have the pro’s of job fair marketing out of the way, there’s the obvious downside of marketing this way.
They’re expensive and time consuming.
You rent the room, you pay for the marketing expense, you pay for food, and you have to physically travel to the room to host the job fair. Or spend the time reaching out to your clients, finding out if their interested in sponsoring a job fair that you’re putting together.
Not to mention the whole public speaking aspect, which statistically most people would rather die than do.
Now, wouldn’t it be great if there were some way to get all of the advantage of job fair marketing without the downsides?
I’d like to introduce you to automated webinar funnels.
What is an automated webinar funnel, you ask?
Well it’s essentially the exact same material you would present in a seminar, to the exact same prospects, with the exception that you only need to record it once and you can do it from the comfort of your home.

It’s important to note that you still have to work and get on the phone or meet with your prospects after they have watched the webinar. However, by that point, they have spent between 1-2 hours consuming your content and they’re ready to take the next step with you.
